Vesna Poposka (1988) is an independent analyst and activist, an associate professor of international law and international relations. She graduated and obtained her master's degree from the Faculty of Law in Skopje, in the Department of International Law and International Relations under the mentorship of Professor Sasho Georgievski. To date, she is the only woman to have earned a Ph.D. from the Military Academy "General M. Apostolski" in Skopje. She is an alumna of several educational programs, including the Council of Europe School of Political Studies, the Presidential School for Young Leaders, and the Youth Network of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies based in Brussels. Her primary field of interest is the interplay of law and freedom with contemporary security challenges.
