Xhelal Neziri holds a master's degree in communications and public relations from the Institute for Sociological and Political-Legal Research at St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He has rich journalistic experience. Immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Philology in 1999, he joined the Albanian-language daily Fakti as a journalist. In 2002, he became the editor of the daily newspaper Global, and worked as a contributor to the weekly Lobby. In 2003, he was hired as a correspondent for the newspaper Koha Ditore Makedonija, while working for the weekly Java. In 2005 he was the editor of the newspaper Lime Exclusively, and in 2007 he founded his weekly Nacional. Since 2011 he is the founder and president of the Center for Investigative Journalism SKUP Macedonia in Skopje.
