Marjan Nikolov holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a master's degree in International Economics and Finance from the Faculty of Economics in Reykjavik, Iceland. He is president of the Center for Economic Analysis (CEA) and an independent consultant. He actively works in several economic areas, such as macroeconomic modeling, econometrics and statistics, fiscal decentralization and public-private partnership. He worked on building the capacities of the public administration and the local government in the Republic of Macedonia through review and reengineering of tax procedures, analysis of fiscal capacities, preparation of strategies and feasibility studies, etc. Nikolov worked as a professor at several faculties in Macedonia, is the author of several publications and has participated in many conferences, seminars and trainings.
