Dimitar Apasiev is a doctor of law. He acquired his master's degree and a doctorate at the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" in Skopje. He is a longtime activist of the Lenka Social Justice Movement and a member of the political party Levica's presidium. He has participated in over a hundred domestic and international scientific symposia. He is the author of a dozen law books and monographs, as well as over 50 articles and professional papers. He has been a legal consultant to several judicial state bodies, trade unions, civic associations and informal activist initiatives. He is currently working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law at the State University "Goce Delchev" - Stip, Department of Civil Law.
