Gordan Kalajdziev is a full professor of criminal procedure, juvenile justice, comparative criminal law, international criminal law, philosophy of law and international human rights law at the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and also teaches at the Police Academy in Skopje and the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors in Skopje. He is also the author of more than 200 published papers and articles on issues of criminal law and procedure, police powers and human rights. He is currently chairing the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights.
