Abstract
Digitalization in primary education represents a significant factor in improving the teaching process, particularly in foreign language instruction. The integration of digital tools such as interactive educational platforms, learning applications, video content, digital games, and online resources enables the creation of a dynamic and stimulating learning environment adapted to the age and interests of students. This paper examines the impact of digitalization on students’ achievement in primary education, with a focus on the development of language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The use of digital tools contributes to increased motivation, greater student engagement, and a more active role of learners in the teaching process. Through a multimedia approach and interactive activities, students more easily acquire new vocabulary and grammatical structures, while simultaneously enhancing their communicative competence. Additionally, digital technology enables differentiated instruction and individualized learning according to each student’s abilities and learning pace. However, the effectiveness of digitalization depends on its appropriate pedagogical implementation, continuous professional development of teachers, and the provision of adequate technical support. In conclusion, properly implemented digital tools have a positive impact on students’ achievement in learning a foreign language in primary education.
